Hi! I'm Becky MacDonald, a Certified Wellness Coach, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), and Safer Skincare/Beautycounter Brand Advocate. I live in Louisville, KY, and have been married to my husband and partner "P" for 20+ years. Aside from my passion for all things wellness, I enjoy spending time outside soaking up nature (especially around water!), watching birds, chilling at the lake, being active, taking walks with friends, traveling with P, drinking wine, cooking and eating good food. In other words, living my life to the fullest!
What is Wellness?
The Google Dictionary says wellness is "the state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal." I like how that includes "actively pursued goal," as it points to awareness, intention, and action...a good portion of your personal wellness is within your control. Aside from the obvious physical health, also critical in a person's wellness are mental health, relationships, spirituality, job or career, a sense of purpose, and self love. All these things together add up to living your most fulfilling and authentic life. I want to work with you to help you find that!

Wellness has always been my passion
For as long as I can remember, I've had a passion for wellness and a desire to help others. I am a CPA and spent ~20 years working in various accounting and finance departments at a large corporation. While there, I was involved in various wellness programs to try and fulfill that passion (including taking my first yoga class!). I’m one of those “weirdos” who always brought her lunch to work, eats veggies, quinoa, hummus, encourages others to meditate (just breathe, folks!) or do yoga, and who strives to get exercise in most days. In my free time I read Healthy Living blogs and am always learning more about what works for others.
While I was involved in the workplace wellness programs, it still wasn’t enough. I was just going through the motions and always felt like something was missing.
So, in 2014 I decided to follow my dreams and enrolled in the Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching certification program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. At IIN, I learned that by addressing all the facets of health in addition to eating, relationships, exercise, career, and spirituality – we can become happier and healthier in all areas of life.
Yoga is the icing on my Wellness cake journey

I have practiced yoga on and off for 20 years and have always loved how it helps me stay grounded and present in the moment. In 2017, I found my way home to 502 Power Yoga after taking my first class there. While I've always dreamed of being a yoga teacher, I never really thought I would do it (public speaking is NOT my favorite!). At 502PY I learned that I already have everything I need to teach or do whatever I choose, so I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with 502 Power Yoga in March of 2019. I love how yoga is for EVERY body, and have a strong desire to spread the benefits and my love for yoga to others!
Safer Skincare & Beauty
In an effort to continue improving my personal wellness, I have been on a journey into safer, less toxic skincare products. We focus so much on what we put IN our bodies, it just makes sense to think about what we're putting ON our bodies, right? I am a consultant for Beautycounter as well as an affiliate member with Primally Pure and would love to help you learn more about the products you're using, and if interested, help you make small changes which can make a big difference in the long run!
