What is "Wellness?"


The Google Dictionary says wellness is "the state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal." I like how that includes "actively pursued goal," as it points to awareness, intention, and action...a good portion of your personal wellness is within your control.  Aside from the obvious physical health, also critical in a person's wellness are mental health, relationships, spirituality, job or career, a sense of purpose, and self love.  All these things together add up to living your most fulfilling and authentic life.  I want to work with you to help you find that!

 

I get that it's not easy, I've been there!


Over the years, I’ve struggled with my weight, emotional eating, inconsistent exercise habits, dissatisfaction in my job, etc. Life is busy and while I KNEW what I needed to be doing to live the healthy, happy life I wanted, I got caught up in the day to day, going through the motions: sleep, work, eat, repeat. Sound familiar? Then I realized, you know what? No one else is going to do it for me, so I need to make myself and my goals a priority!

I love working with clients and seeing their lives change for the better!


Now as a Wellness Coach, I work with clients who are busy, stressed out to the max, are often struggling with emotional eating or other unhealthy habits, and because of this they are unable to achieve their goals, health or otherwise. "I don't have the time or the energy to spend time on me!"

In your personalized program, we'll discuss your unique situation and I am here to create a supportive environment while we explore what really works for you.

I'll work with you through our confidential Coaching relationship to:

  • Help you find your joy!

  • Offer support and accountability

  • Work together to help you find ways to thrive and live your life fully

  • Share tools to help manage/reduce anxiety

  • Guide you through steps to help you feel at peace with your body

  • Teach you to make self-care a priority

  • Find ways to lose the guilt for not doing what you "should" be doing

  • Lead you to discover ways to live your life authentically and with purpose

  • Help you set and achieve your own personal goals

  • Listen to you about your unique situation, your needs, and help determine tools that work for you

What does a Wellness Coaching with Becky relationship look like?

  • We have biweekly calls (45 min) one on one to

    • discuss what's going on with you

    • provide a supportive environment where I will LISTEN to your thoughts and feelings

    • develop a list of 2-3 takeaways/goals each session

  • I am accessible between sessions via email or text for additional support

  • I will provide tools, handouts, giveaways and other materials to support you on your personal journey

  • Access to MacDonald Wellness newsletter and other resources
