Month End Review (March 2026)

At the end of 2025, I spent some time recapping the year, and I really enjoyed the process: I went through my calendar and my camera roll and looked back to see all the different things that happened. It was super helpful (I can't ever remember what I did yesterday, let alone what I did 3 months ago LOL), and inspired me to move into this year more intentionally! When I set up my 2026 calendar, I created a space to do a review each month, vs waiting till the end of the year.
And now it's time for another month end review!
Here we are at the end of March (crazy)! This has been a weird month for me, I can't really explain it, but it doesn't feel like much has happened. Like I said, it's hard for me to remember what all has happened over the last 4 weeks 😅 If you're like me, we tend to focus more on all the things we didn't do, and the things we actually accomplished get forgotten (sound familiar?).

Today I went through the month:
I looked back at my pictures and my calendar, thought about my habits and practices, projects I worked on, etc. I was almost surprised to come up with as many things as I did! There were some things I was really proud of, and I made sure to notice the places where I had FUN, plus areas where I would like to focus more on.
To help with your review, check out these reflection questions (I just saw this right before I was getting ready too post this - perfect!):

Some key happenings this month:
Trip planning - it's looking to be a busy summer!
I'm learning Italian! 🤩
March Matness at 502 Power Yoga! Didn't get my goal of 20 classes, but I took 17 (more than Feb!)
Zoo walks are back (FREE walking club from 8-9:30 daily - we go once a week)
TAXES complete! 🙌
lent challenge: daily random acts of kindness + decluttering (at least 1 thing) - most days!
Porch time with Hank
Lilacs & other flowers are blooming
Warmer weather (in between the cold snaps 🥶) = more walks!
Interested in doing your own Month End Review?
Try it! Set aside some time (even 15 minutes!) to look back through your month: pull out your calendars, camera roll, etc, and make some notes:
What worked well, and what didn't (no judgement! just be curious)
Where did you make time for an adventure or fun
What's missing or might you want to intentionally add more of next month
Did you make time for self care?
Be sure to notice and celebrate your wins! (even a "yay me!" 🤩)
Then use that information to be more intentional
about how you spend your time the following month!
Some of my ideas for April:
Keep getting outside: Yard work, walks, porch time, just breathing fresh air!
Schedule something fun each week (even little things like coffee or walks with friends)
Continue with my intentional daily rest & ease. My current mantra is "Today I choose to move forward with purpose and ease"
Clearing out digital clutter, specifically photos/videos
More consistent posting here, plus a weekly newsletter
Strength training, at least 1x/week (or 4 times during April) 💪

I love the above message and how this process reminds us to celebrate our wins! Instead of only focusing on what we didn't do, let's pay attention to all the things we actually accomplished!! This month end review process is a great way to set aside time to acknowledge our wins, and to be proud of yourself. Keep going!!
⭐I'd love to hear if you tried this and how it went for you. Shoot me an email, or comment with your thoughts!!
